The Delegations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in alliance with some state secretariats, such as: the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Social Development offer state programs and support funds for migrants in order to promote productive projects and boost the work skills of returnees from the United States.

Each state varies in the types of programs and support offered, so it is necessary to consult directly in the Delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs corresponding to the state in which the returnee resides.

 

If, during the detention process, a Mexican citizen has access to a notary, he/she can grant temporary guardianship through him to the person he/she designates, if he does not have access, a family member can apply for guardianship, proving the kinship relationship.

It is important to note that when the child is in the custody of the State, a judge can determine whether the power of attorney over the child's guardianship is valid or not.
